Tour Guides

 

Tour Guides - Our guides are the stars of the show, telling stories, running dog teams, and teaching people about mushing. We offer six tours every day, and the guides take turns doing kennel tours and equipment demonstrations with groups of 20-50 guests, and driving our summer sleds. Guides spend 9 hours per day interacting with guests, so excellent communications skills, a good sense of humor, and professional appearance is a must. Guides work six days/week, usually 10-12 hours per day. As a rule, we only hire Iditarod/Quest finishers as guides, although individuals with outstanding public speaking skills are encouraged to apply as well.
