Dallas Seavey
Dallas Seavey was born in Virginia where he lived the first six years of his life. The family came back to Alaska in
1992. Dallas turned 18 the day before the start of the 2005 Iditarod, which made him the youngest person to ever run the
Iditarod. He also raced the Jr. Iditarod in 2005 and is the first person ever to do both the Jr. Iditarod and the Iditarod
in the same year. He finished second in the 2003 and 2004 Jr. Iditarod races and ran the last two Kusko 300's, finishing
fourth and sixth respectively. Dallas' main hobby is USA wrestling and he is Alaska's first and only national wrestling
champion. Dallas is engaged to Jen Podzemny; they
are getting married in April 2008.
