Danny Seavey
Danny Seavey, 23, raced in the Iditarod in 2001 placing 43rd. As Mitch's oldest son he was Mitch's
right-hand-man for many years as he was growing up, helping train and race the competitive teams much
like Mitch did for his father, Dan Sr., in the early days. Danny has made a reputation for himself racing
in both Alaska and Minnesota in many top events. In recent years he has been studying at the University of
Montana and has earned his degree in Business Management. Danny currently manages the family tour business
in Seward, Alaska.
