Summer Tours

The Seavey family offers exciting summer dog sled rides at Grandfather Dan's homestead in Seward, and at Mitch's kennel in Sterling. Both tours give guests a behind-the-scenes tour of an Iditarod racing kennel and 100% of proceeds go to supporting our racing efforts. Please choose from the options below for more info.

 

• 1.5 Hour Wilderness Sled Dog and Tour - This tour shows you everything behind-the-scenes to a real Iditarod race team. Voted the "Best dog sled ride/tour in Alaska!"
   
• Full-Day Real Alaska Tour - This tour takes you as close to the real thing as you can possibly get without becoming a real musher. This is a great tour for visitors without transportation.
