Including the same elements as our Wilderness Sled Dog Ride and Tour in Seward, our Sterling location now offers more personalized, customized tours year-round. Just minutes from Soldotna and the Kenai River, guests will tour our kennel and training facilities, meet the dogs, experience a 2-mile dog sled ride, and learn about the Iditarod on our 1 1/2 hour tours led by Tyrell Seavey.

Tour Times

Tours in Sterling run subject to weather conditions, with many afternoons becoming too hot for the dogs to run. We recommend the 8:30 am tour, to ensure safe running temperatures, although we can often run through the middle of the day on cool or rainy days.
