Winter Mushing Adventures
If you're Brave enough to visit Alaska in the winter,
we'll give you the full experience! These tours
are the real thing. Every run is helping train the dogs
for the iditarod, and every dog either has or will race.
Accessible for all adventurers, regardless of ability
level.
Exit Glacier by dog team

November-April weather permitting
Learn to drive a dog team! Mush a dog team down
Resurrection River Valley right to Exit Glacier.
The road is closed in the winter, so dog team is one of
the only ways you can see the glacier in the winter.
The trail is wide and easy to maneuver, so anyone can
learn. We'll stop at the glacier and enjoy a trail
lunch and hot chocolate. Make sure you bring your
camera - the scenery is incredible, and we often see
moose and eagles. This is our favorite tour; you
really get to experience the Alaskan wilderness, and
will leave with a good understanding and appreciation of
sled dogs.
Duration: 3.5 hours
Price: $249/pp
Includes: Lunch, drinks, and dogs
Winter ride and tour
October-April, several locations
Tour our racing kennel, then hop on the sled for a real
dog sled ride. See the dogs in action as we travel
through the snowy mountains and forests. Help
drive the team, or sit in our comfortable sleds. We'll
make plenty of stops for pictures, and to pet the dogs.
Perfect for families with small children, and groups.
Duration: 1.5 hours
Price: $99/adults $69/kids
overnight dog sledding adventures and even learning to
race packages are available...please call or e-mail for
more info.
What to Expect:
We will customize the tour to your ability level; you
can sit, stand or drive the sled. You can help
hitch the dogs or sit and watch.
